you didn’t believe me?

You didn’t really think swedes were edible? Well, how about trying this recipe then?

500g swede, sliced
250g apples, sliced
1/2 C water
   Bring to the boil

1t salt
2t golden syrup
   Add to the above
   Cover and cook 30 minutes or until swede is soft
   Drain

2t butter
black pepper
   Add and mash well
