can plastic compare?

Sunday afternoons spent at Grandma-and-Grandpa’s when I was growing up, were synonomous with shortbread, biscuits and iced cakes. All of which were kept in metal tins. Imagine my delight to wander down nostalgia lane upon discovering some well-preserved tins at a local thrift store recently. Delight which was only heightened when I realised I could line these tins with thrifted hand embroidered linen instead of old trees paper towels.

No more will we use icecream containers if there happen to be leftovers! In fact, I even want to bake some extra just to use the tins.

Doesn’t that hold so much more potential for making childhood memories than tupperware?
